Go Forward!

With such anointing on his life and courage to confront the then world ruler, leading such a vast army of people out of a perennial servitude that lasted centuries, you’ll assume he can’t break down again in tears! Alas! He sure did. So we all do. Obviously, it was only God that could reveal such a reality about a great man of God like Moses. We might have assumed he does not have occasions in his lifetime and ministry when he had to cry, if not God who “leaked” the secret of the secret place!

How do you feel when you cry with nobody to ask why you do? How does it feel when no one can notice the tears you shed? What happens when your tears are only visible to God, right in the corner of your heart? Such tears that wet the pillow because there’s about to be a run-over by a “pharaoh” you thought you have left behind! And right ahead, is a natural limitation of the sea, while you’re caught in-between! What would someone do when the well being of your family is at the verge of collapsing and they have followed you by faith, trusting your faith can make them whole? What options do you have than to break down in tears?

However, beyond the cry, there’s an outcry from heaven; GO FORWARD! Definitely, crying saps your energy, remember David? Crying is not the way forward. Your emotion may keep you from motion. Take back the nod of divine approval on your life, put the fear behind you, amplify the possibility of getting ahead, and gather momentum because as far as God is concerned, you’ll neither be overtaken by pharaoh, nor taken up by the sea. Until you step ahead, you’ll never believe there’s a way in the deep, wide sea. God instructed you to TURN in verse 2 and encamp, now that you’ve been fortified, lace up, dress up, get up and go forward. This is not the last point of experience in freedom, the journey is too far to quit here. A miracle is waiting to happen, take that bold step of faith, make a quantum leap, take the only direction that keeps a man from extinction; GO FORWARD! The miracle is hidden in that step you are about to take in God’s direction. The way would not open up, until you dare the fear! Whose size would you consider before deciding who to obey; the sea, Pharaoh’s or your God’s? As far as fulfillment is concerned, no retreat, no surrender!
